Green Medicine New Jersey Well Test Update

Green Medicine New Jersey’s (GMNJ) contracted hydrologist, Princeton Geoscience Inc. and Stover’s Wells and Pumps conducted its well pumping test on August 22nd. The test included the GMNJ wells and the four surrounding test wells that were fitted with transducers to collect baseline and automated water level data during the test.

The four wells were those as identified in the well test plan prepared by GMNJ and approved by the Township.  Stover’s Wells and Pumps also manually monitored three additional wells, on behalf of the Township, for any interference during the pumping test.

The test was witnessed by West Amwell Township’s engineer and hydrogeologist,

The pumping test involved continuous pumping of the new GMNJ well at 5.25 GPM (±0.1 GPM) for eight hours; total water pumped approximated 2,530 gallons.

A significant amount of data was collected and we are awaiting test results from Princeton Geoscience Inc.

At present, Princeton Geoscience is completing the processing of the manually collected and automated water level data and will use this data and derived test parameters to prepare a formal report as described in Section 5 of the Workplan (well test plan) that will then be reviewed by West Amwell Township’s professionals.

We expect to post test results by mid-September.
